mum_duchesssa_itallySince we’re on the verge of Mother’s Day I was reading chapter 4, Children and Parenting, in The Soul Truth: a Guide to Inner Peace. Amongst topics like ‘how to raise a spiritual child’ and ‘does the soul choose its parents’ I found the following excerpt on living in the moment inspiring.

We are always fascinated by the group sessions we’ve done with children. It is beautiful and enlightening for us, as adults, to listen to their questions and see their connectedness. What advice do you have for parents to become more childlike in this way?

To open the heart, to live fully present in the moment to moment experience as a child does. An adult is too far into the future or too far into the past and not living in the moment. If one is having difficulty being in the moment, it is then to be aware of what one is speaking, or what one is hearing. To breathe, to feel the breath in the body, allows one to be more fully present in the physical structure. What is one tasting if one is eating? Draw the self back to the experience of that moment. For if you think, “I am thinking about this moment”, it is already past, and it is not truly living one’s life. If one is in the future, it is not living in the moment and it’s passing by a precious gift. If one is too far in the past in the memories, and living only in the memories, one is not in the moment of the present. Ultimately, the memory of the past is tainted because they have not been living in it in the first place. It has been happening to them. So to live one’s life fully, it is to be moment to moment expressed and experienced, and that in itself is a childlike quality. This is not to say not to have plans for the future. Set those plans, those visions, and let them go. And do what comes moment to moment in your expression and manifesting externally, as you have placed intent on the future through the moment-to moment expression of life. As all have experienced, as a child, five minutes, thirty minutes, one hour, one day, is an eternity at times. And a year is as if a lifetime. That is full presence that a child has of their life experience moment to moment. Be that aware.” - THEO

THEO has also said in the past…
If you are eating an apple, how does it taste, what is its texture? If you are speaking to someone, listen fully to what they are saying. If you are listening to music hear every note.”

Enjoy the music.

Grand Change - Global Community

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Theo, what message do you have today?
It is time of grand change.  There is a witnessing of the global economic structure, the global community, the global informational community that is coming to fruition in this time.  It is a time of new birth for the entirety of the world.  And we would find here that there is an interest to this awareness of each other throughout the world and through the communicative skills that are available to all individuals now, it is important that ones be aware.  For you have chosen to be a participant in this time of grand change.  So be present in the moment to moment experience of that and to recognize the ability to have knowledge of different cultures, different environments, different personalities so that one does not judge another as harshly as has been done in the past.  For it is a time of recognition of the atonement the joining of humanity.  Not judging one another but blessing each other and the diversities that that brings into this world and the similarities as well.

To assist in centering self and opening up during this time, we recommend listening to the complimentary guided meditation with Theo: Awakening to the Soul.

Enlightenment

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

Theo, What is enlightenment and can we achieve it in this lifetime and how do we do that?

Yes, there are many enlightened beings upon this planet that have integrated on a soul level and have peace in their hearts. For enlightenment means a lightness of being, an awareness of self acceptance and self love, a non-judgment of others. Of living presence, being in the moment of their experience and knowing that the experiences or the challenges or the circumstance do not define them, it teaches. And as one evolves and changes, circumstances- situtuations energetically will arise again and again. It is how one perceives them and works with the energetic that changes, that brings about that enlightenment if you would.

To assist on your path you may want to use Theo’s guided meditation The Heart Opening.

The Year 2012

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

Theo please talk about the year 2012 and the time leading up to it.
Many speak of the new age.  There is nothing new about it.  We find it quite interesting that there must be a title for all the changes.  There is a historical necessity, yes?  However, the year 2012 is significant.  Not that there would be a dramatic upheaval.  But this has been going on for many years, this awakening.  It is a pinnacle point, you might say, of change, of awarenesses, of change of procedures, of a global economic community coming forth.  Of this community awareness that is global conferences that will be available through your media and your computers and your tools, should we say.  This awareness of one another, this comes about to create the global community of which we speak.  And with a global economic structure in place there can be abundance for all.  And knowing that they are diverse, humans diversity, it is a beautiful tapestry of your planet, of your Earth, of your human race.  We see it is a beautiful thing that is occurring.  Even though there is strife in that.  When there is an imbalance in a physical body, that you call illness, does it not have to appear to be worse before better?  In many circumstances it does, the fever gets very high before it breaks and then the body is better and cleansed.  So that is what is similar to what is occurring to the human experience now.

In looking at the Mayan Calendar what is the significance of December 21, 2012?
That’s what we’ve been speaking about.  But is important not to hold mind in thought of time.  Humanity is so stuck on time, when this - when that.  Perfect timing is what one should think, perfect soul’s timing.  So if you are fully present moment to moment in one’s experience one lives the life to its fullest extent.  For if you are projected too far into that future or what is this going to be and what is that.  Not that you should not make plans, but what we are saying is you make your plan or you have your intuition of what is to come or your desire and then you live into it.  And the opportunities present themselves for that to occur, as you have made your mindset for the creation is the thought.  We have given you some thought about what is to come, but we prefer to be not so finite to date because then the human mind becomes fixated and does not be attentive to what is.

What can you share with us about how to remain in this present moment?
It is not that you should not review your life, but stay not stuck in the past.  Recognize the gifts, the circumstances, that allowed you to grow.  Not to hold on to them steadfastly so that you cannot move from them, but to recognize this was then and here I am now.  Look what has happened in between and how I observe my life presently.  So you have those moments of reflection necessarily so and you have moments of futuristic thinking - preferably not fearful thinking.  But if you are too caught up in the past, often times there is anger and upset, draw the self back to what is happening in the moment.  If you are eating an apple, how does it taste, what is its texture?  If you are speaking to someone, listen fully to what they are saying.  If you are listening to music hear every note.  If you are too much into the future, and often times many think in terms of fear (what if this were to happen or that,) draw the self back to the moment again.  If you are walking be deliberate in your steps, feel the ground under your feet, feel your foot in the shoe, feel what is being experienced of the body in that moment, to draw yourself back to presence.  So it is to be fully present in all actions that you are doing, moment to moment and embrace it.
