Magical

meditation-alex-bramwell-las-palmas-spainWhen I was small there were often times I wanted to be Samantha from Bewitched and wiggle my nose and have things magically change. (When I was small…who am I kidding, I would love to wiggle my nose and have my house clean and dinner made tonight.) What does seem to be a bit magical and within our grasp is the intuition and guidance I believe we all have available to us. I liken ‘openness to your intuition’ and ‘awareness of guidance,’ to playing the flute; some have a natural gift and can pick it up and play while others must practice to play beautiful music. I know there are those of you thinking, how do you practice connecting with guidance? I believe a key component is meditation. Meditation has allowed me to quiet my mind so I can listen to my inner/higher self and open to the guidance about me.

THEO speaks about meditation as being fundamental in allowing us to: communicate with our spiritual guides, balance our energy, connect with our higher self, experience peace and joy, manifest abundance, sustain a healthful state as well as open us up to full soul integration.

We speak often of meditation, and it seems redundant to do so, but that is the best form the quietness of mind. Meditate regularly, needs not be great lengths of time, but this allows you to rest the physical body and align with the higher frequencies allowing for a better healthful state. And this allows one to come into balance and openness to the universal energies that are ever present.

When ones become very adept and find a great sense of well being within that state would prefer a bit of longer meditative process daily than not. However, in the beginning it is to meditate a few minutes daily, habitually. Chose the form that is psychologically and emotionally comfortable to you. There are moving meditations, there are meditations to be sitting quietly, there are meditations to be done in nature. So it is whatever is acceptable to one at the time to utilize the quietness of mind, the centering of self. And breathing deeply and exhaling completely so one is fully present in body. Meditation is physiologically excellent, for it allows a rest for the nervous system; it allows a quietness; it allows the body to come into balance. So a meditation is a function that assists in the whole body balance. Daily meditation induces a lightness of being and connectedness to our souls.
” THEO

THEO, how do we surrender and move into a place of allowing all of the magnificence to come into our lives verses the doing that we are all so human and expert at doing?

That is what meditation is, the allowance. The quieting the mind - the non-doing. It is a rest for the physical body and it is an allowance for the soul to be illumined.” THEO

I know when I meditate on a regular basis I am more peaceful, feel more connected/more aware and live my life in a more loving manner. I don’t have a meditation regime, sometimes it is two minutes of sitting quietly focusing on my breathing and other times it is listening to one of THEO’s guided meditations. They both help bring the best of me into my daily experience. I can say, enthusiastically, I really enjoy THEO’s guided meditations. Having a guide through a meditation helps quiet my mind, I like the variety of meditations and I resonate with THEO’s energy. If you haven’t tried a guided meditation I encourage you to try out our complimentary guided meditation Awakening to the Soul.
